About Dr. Sprouse

At age 37, Adrienne Sprouse was accepted at eleven medical schools and chose Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating with multiple awards.   She completed an internship in surgery and a residency in Emergency Medicine at Bellevue Hospital which included training at the New York City Poison Center.  Additionally, she trained with the American Academy of Environmental Medicine.

In 1995, Dr. Sprouse opened New York City’s first chemical-free environmental medicine center, treating patients made ill from environmental factors.  Her center served as a residency training site, seminar center, and referral center for hundreds of patients across the country and abroad.
